This bottle-conditioned farmhouse ale was fermented with our wild house mixed culture, then refermented on Southern Illinois-grown Chambourcin grapes and aged in a puncheon that previously held red wine. This beer possesses a deep purple hue, a noticeable funk from the barrel character and a tannic, dry red wine quality. It’s ready for your enjoyment now or can be kept in your home cellar for several years.
