Production Year: 2015. Mezcalero: Don Aron. Agave Source: Chilapa de Álvarez, Guerrero. Agave Sugar: Cupreata Capón. Cooking Method: Underground conical oven using river stones and endemic wood. Crushing Method: Tahona (grinding stone) pulled by donkey. Fermentation: Open air wood vats. Distillation: Twice distilled. Still Style: Wood fired copper pots. Aging: 6 years in bottle (maduro mezcal). Additives: None.
