President and Master Distiller, Francesco ‘Ciccio’ Amodeo, began his journey in the hospitality industry. Managing some of the most prestigious culinary establishments in Washington D.C., he decided to step away from the hospitality industry to embark on his true passion, artisanal liqueur making. Following in the footsteps of his Great-Grandfather & Grandfather, he invested his time and energy into creating his artisanal ‘Rosoli’ and Amari line giving way to the birth of Don Ciccio & Figli in Washington D.C.

One hundred twenty years have passed since this recipe was last in production. “Donna Rosa” has risen to take its place in our aperitivi collection. This aperitivo is based on an infusion of 20 selected roots and herbs highlighting two types of rhubarb root, honeysuckles, rose petals and vanilla.
